Fintax processes personal data to operate the website, handle requests, manage accounts, process payments, and provide accounting, tax, administrative, and support services for taxpayers in Mexico.

This privacy notice explains what data we collect, why we use it, who we may share it with, how we protect it, and how you may exercise your rights under applicable Mexican law.

1. Controller identity and address

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Fintax, with contact address at Galeana 437, Colonia Centro 64000 Monterrey, N.L..

2. Personal data we may collect

Depending on how you interact with the site, portal, checkout, support channels, or hired services, we may collect:

  • Identification and contact data, including name, email, phone, city, state, address, and preferred contact channel.
  • Account and authentication data, including user identifiers, profile information, email, phone, and information provided by the authentication provider.
  • Tax, accounting, and business data, including RFC, company name, tax address, tax regime, activity, industry, movements, CFDI, filings, SAT documents, payroll, accounting, legal information, and related files.
  • Hiring and payment data, including plan, tier, add-ons, billing frequency, amount, currency, IVA, payment history, folios, subscription status, Stripe identifiers, billing data, and purchase confirmations.
  • Support and communication data, including form messages, chat, WhatsApp, email, phone, SMS, voice, social channels, ManyChat, Zendesk, support portal, notes, attachments, and related metadata.
  • Technical and browsing data, including IP address, session identifiers, device, browser, operating system, page, URL, referrer, conversion events, interactions, clicks, scroll depth, funnels, performance, and security data.
  • Automated assistant data, including messages, classifications, summaries, technical cost/token metadata, and logs needed to operate, audit, improve, or escalate support.

Tax, accounting, financial, legal, or payroll documentation may contain financial, patrimonial, or sensitive data. When you provide this information, we process it only for the purposes described in this notice and with reasonable security measures.

3. Sources

We may obtain data directly from you when you fill out forms, create an account, hire a plan, upload documents, schedule advisory sessions, or contact us through enabled channels.

We may also receive information from providers needed to operate the service, such as authentication, payments, scheduling, support, messaging, analytics, infrastructure, storage, and email providers, or from authorities where a legal or tax obligation applies.

4. Primary purposes

We process your data for purposes necessary to our relationship with you and to provide the services:

  • Responding to information requests, diagnostics, quotes, commercial contact, and advisory scheduling.
  • Creating, authenticating, administering, and protecting accounts, profiles, access, and sessions.
  • Providing accounting, tax, administrative, invoicing, payroll, filing, CFDI, SAT compliance, tax mailbox follow-up, financial statement, electronic accounting, and related services.
  • Receiving, storing, reviewing, classifying, downloading, and following up on tax, accounting, payroll, legal, or administrative documents.
  • Processing payments, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, billing, receipts, reconciliations, retries, and transactional communications.
  • Providing support through portal, chat, automated assistant, email, WhatsApp, phone, SMS, voice, Zendesk, ManyChat, or other authorized channels.
  • Sending confirmations, service notices, reminders, responses, tickets, operational updates, and communications needed to meet contractual or legal obligations.
  • Complying with tax, accounting, commercial, administrative, security, fraud prevention, audit, record retention, and authority request obligations.
  • Maintaining site security and preventing abuse, unauthorized access, technical errors, fraud, spam, or misuse.

5. Secondary purposes

We may also use your data for non-essential purposes, such as educational content, updates, invitations, surveys, commercial improvements, campaign measurement, aggregate usage analysis, product optimization, or marketing communications related to Fintax.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe or other enabled payment providers. Fintax does not store full card details. We may keep customer, session, subscription, invoice, payment, or folio identifiers to administer hiring, payment history, reconciliation, billing, clarifications, and fraud prevention.

The payment provider may process data under its own terms, policies, and regulatory obligations.

7. Automated assistant and AI support

When you use the support assistant or automated tools, your messages and context may be processed by AI or automation systems to answer general questions, classify requests, detect abuse, summarize the case, measure technical costs, or escalate the conversation to a human advisor.

Automated answers are informational and do not replace personalized tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice.

8. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, authenticate sessions, improve security, measure traffic, analyze conversions, understand interactions, and improve our services.

We may use first-party tracking tools and third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Vercel Analytics, and authentication, payment, support, or infrastructure providers.

9. Processors, providers, and transfers

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with providers that process information on behalf of Fintax or are necessary to provide the service, including authentication, infrastructure, database, storage, payments, billing, email, messaging, support, scheduling, video calls, analytics, security, automation, and AI.

Provider categories may include Clerk, Convex, Vercel, Vercel Blob, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Workspace/Gmail, Zendesk, ManyChat, Vercel AI Gateway, and AI model or service providers, depending on what is enabled.

We may also disclose data to tax, administrative, judicial, or regulatory authorities; professional advisors; audit, compliance, or legal defense providers; or third parties needed to meet contractual, tax, accounting, commercial, or security obligations.

10. ARCO rights, withdrawal, and limitation

You may exercise access, rectification, cancellation, and objection rights regarding your personal data, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or request limitation of use or disclosure.

  • Your full name and a channel to communicate the response.
  • Proof of identity or, if applicable, legal representation.
  • A clear description of the right you want to exercise.
  • The personal data involved, where possible.
  • Any element that helps locate the information, such as account email, phone, folio, ticket, plan, or approximate date.

For rectification requests, indicate the data to be corrected and provide supporting documents when applicable. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines.

11. Data retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described, provide services, maintain the account, handle support, document payments, meet tax, accounting, commercial, or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect rights.

Deletion may be limited where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, contractual, audit, security, fraud prevention, legal defense, or limitation period reasons.

12. Security and confidentiality

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, unauthorized use, access, or processing.

Personnel, collaborators, and providers involved in processing must keep information confidential. If a confirmed security breach significantly affects your patrimonial or moral rights, we will seek to notify you under applicable law.

13. Minors

Our services are directed to adults, taxpayers, company representatives, or persons legally able to hire services. We do not knowingly request minors' data.

14. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect legal, operational, technological, provider, or service changes. The current version will be published on this page.
